The day I grew the wings of art
It is finally here – my very first official blog. I am so excited! There were and are (oh, and I am sure there will be in future) a lot of beautiful moments in my life that inspire me over and over again to create unique paintings.
I would like to share with you my so far very interesting artistic path.
Are you in?
I hope you are curious and would like to enter my world of imagination, creativity, and discover with me all of the hidden places of endless possibilities which the blank canvas and brushes offer.
I always feel butterflies in my stomach before I start painting! Wow, it is that special vibe of energy that flows through me. I am excited and blessed to be able to paint and source ideas from the universe. Blessed to be the “chosen one” for a profession that is so pure, intuitive, and creative.
Pollock said: “When I am in my painting, I’m not aware of what I’m doing. It is only after a sort of ‘get acquainted’ period that I see what I have been about. I have no fear of making changes, destroying the image, etc., because the painting has a life of its own. I try to let it come through. It is only when I lose contact with the painting that the result is a mess. Otherwise there is pure harmony, an easy give and take, and the painting comes out well”. (Jackson Pollock, My Painting, 1956, as quoted in wikipedia.com)
I have special respect for the blank canvas and brushes because I know that anything is possible and as Einstein said: “… I am passionately curious”.
‘Who am I reading about’, you are probably asking yourself right now. Well, I will try my best to introduce myself, my creative work, and my life events through my blog articles.
But first just briefly, I am an artist, abstract painter, open-minded restless soul living in Europe between Switzerland and Slovenia. I love to travel, meet people, and explore our beautiful, exciting, and breathtaking planet Earth.
I look forward to meeting you, many likeminded soul mates around the world and look forward to your comments.
